Displaced Hotel Residents Receive Checks from Whitefish Businessman

Whitefish businessman Michael Goguen donated $350,000 in the form of $10,000 checks to the remaining households still living in what’s known as “The Annex” portion of FairBridge Inn to help them avoid homelessness. The hotel is being sold and all residents were given notice to find new housing.

Cheyenne Sciacqua, who lives at the hotel with her fiancé and 6-month-old son, called the donation “life-changing.”

“We are truly thankful for the Goguen family for helping us out and giving us at least some hope,” Sciacqua said.
